The right Necklace Cord Length

Help in Selecting the right Necklace length.

When it comes to Necklaces, one size does NOT fit all.

Although there are standard lengths, alot depends on the body type of the person who will be wearing the necklace. As we see in the picture below, a 16" necklace, for example will fit a "Tween" girl below her collar bone and would be a good fit for hanging a pendant. But a 16" necklace would fit a male or an older or heavier woman as a choker. We recommend that you purchase an assortment of lengths so that your customers can have an opportunity to try different lengths on and this way find what is best for them. We do not charge extra for a mix of lengths. Just let us know what you want and we will make it for you.

For those of you who are wondering, the most common length sold here on Quality Cords is 16, 18 & 20 inch.

Our model on the left is a 25yr old male and our model on the right is a 13yr old female.  Keep in mind that you must consider body type when selecting a necklace length. Males and older people tend to have thicker necks than tweens, teens and young girls. When in doubt try one on yourself.

Our model below is a 4yr old little girl. She is wearing 13, 14 and 15" necklaces. If you want a necklace that will fall to mid chest on a 4 year old try a 16".
